Associated Productions came to us for talent and production for two nights of events for their client S.P. Richards.
Their vision was quite ambitious. For the first night, their Opening Reception, they wanted 8 bands playing on 4 stages.
There were two hotel ballrooms with 2 stages in each. Bands were to play simultaneously. For the second night or their
Gala, we provided two dance/party bands.
Considering we are no strangers to challenges, we met and exceeded their
expectations by providing an outstanding display of music for both events.
We accomplished this
by having both stages at opposite sides of the room and erecting the airwalls in the center of the ballroom and immediately
in front of each stage to absorb some of the sound. We also provided the sound at levels that would not conflict with
each stage's performance.
Long in to our negotiations of talent we discovered that they were also in
need of decor. They wanted to create a Mardi Gras Fantasy on the second night. We led the decor team and provided
a fabulous display of Mardi Gras props from local artisians. Owner, Deanna Bernard, hand picked each prop and each
position in the rooms to create the fantasy they wanted. The props combined with the lighting that they provided
made a beautiful and impressive environment that everyone enjoyed.
The attendees loved the music and it showed
by their enthusiasm for their favorite band. There was a style for every taste and the diversity was well balanced.
